Autex Acoustics launches reimagined Vicinity Workstation Screens for user customisation.

Autex Acoustics launches reimagined Vicinity Workstation Screens for user customisation.

Autex Acoustics has introduced Vicinity - a fully customisable workstation screen system.

This solution has been designed to enhance acoustic and physical privacy in modern workspaces. And has been engineered for adaptability, sustainability, and design freedom, promising to transform the open-plan environment into a sanctuary for focused and productive work.

Developed with circularity in mind, Vicinity is available with the Vicinity Workstation Clamps, made from 100% recycled PET sourced from in-house textile waste. Alternatively, users can integrate Vicinity into their own setup for ultimate flexibility.

Designed for personalisation at every level, Vicinity offers customisation across style, width, height, colour, and corner detail. This ensures that every workspace can be tailored to specific design and acoustic needs while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic.

“Vicinity is more than just a screen system; it’s a step toward creating workspaces that are quiet, comfortable, and conscious of the environment,” said Jonathan Mountfort, creative director.

At the heart of Vicinity’s sustainable design is RePET—Autex Acoustics’ pioneering, industry-first process that transforms in-house PET waste into reusable raw material. To-date, RePET has diverted over 190,000 kilograms of waste from landfill by converting it into new components such as the Vicinity Workstation Clamps.

These innovative clamps are exclusively designed for quick and secure installation with 12 mm and 24 mm thick Vicinity Workstation Screens and are available in two standard colours—black and off-white—to complement any design scheme. Because both screens and clamps are made entirely from PET, they can be disassembled and recycled repeatedly through the RePET process, enabling a truly circular product lifecycle.

With construction and demolition waste accounting for up to 50% of total landfill volume, Vicinity represents an opportunity for positive change—where smart design meets responsible manufacturing.
