This week, our Annual Christmas Quizzes filled our Manchester and Glasgow Studios with festive merriment, all in aid of a selection of brilliant charity causes.

First up, a wonderfully fun, yet nonetheless competitive!, evening was had at Material Source Studio Glasgow on Wednesday.

While every team did fantastically well, all getting over 60% of the answers correct, there could only be one winner, and a tense tie-breaker made the decision...

Zentia - UK (Team Zentia Tentia) clinched the trophy with the aid of Space Solutions. For Chris Carr, this is his second year of victory on the trot! Congrats to Chris, Scott Hamilton, Jade Gargano, and Gillian R.

Russwood (Team Knotty or Nice), supported by John Gilbert Architects, were equal first before the tie break, landing in second place. Well done, team.

In addition to being a thank you to our community for a brilliant year of support, the night of merriment also raised £3,300 for charity causes close to our hearts, Maggie's Centres, British Heart Foundation, and Mind The Men. Adding this to the £1,400 donated at the Spring Quiz, the 2025 charity total for our Glasgow Studio stands at £4,700. A huge thank you to all for your continued generosity.

Next up was Manchester's Annual Christmas Quiz on Thursday.

Rounding off our events calendar for 2025 with a bang, the fun, festive, and of course, competitive, evening saw all the teams do extremely well, getting over 50% of the answers correct.

Just one team could claim the trophy though...

Cundall (Team Cundalicious) came out on top, with an 82% success rate! Congrats to team captain, Candy Hui, and the crew on your victory!

SAS International (Team Sascadians) captained by Chris Edge came in at a close second (78% of the answers right!) Well done, team!

Our thanks goes out to everyone who took part in what was a fantastic evening all in aid of a trio of brilliant causes. You as a community raised £3,245 for charities close to our hearts, Maggie's Centres, British Heart Foundation, #ANDYSMANCLUB. And combining this with the £1,300 raised at the Spring Quiz, the 2025 charity total for our Manchester Studio stands at £4,545.

This means in 2025, Material Source Studio Members and Partner brands have collectively fundraised a total of £9,345 – well done to all, and a big, heartfelt thanks for your continued generosity.
