As our team prepares to set up camp in EC1 for 2025's CDW, we look ahead to what's happening from 20-22 May.
For us, it's a packed week of meetings with Partners - new, and founding - architects, and designers, in amongst the busy programme of activity taking place across the Clerkenwell sprawl.

Agua Fabrics
Agua will be back in the same position as last year - the Projects tent stand number PA1 in the grounds of St James Church. The team looks forward to a busy and productive few days where they'll be showcasing Agua's first ever wool collection Dales along with a new collection - Oruga, a chunky chenille fabric - due to be unveiled in June.
All the classics and favourites will also be on display, as well as furniture by Summit Chairs and OB&B - upholstered in Dales.
Ahrend
Ahrend UK is excited to be exhibiting a pop-up version of its Circular Hub during Clerkenwell Design Week this year.
Ahrend’s Circular Hub in Holland has been running since 2021 and was created to extend the lifespan of furniture, by refurbishing and redistributing it, and helping to contribute towards a circular economy.
A dedicated team of experts will be on hand, within the showroom, to present a selection of Ahrend’s revived collection as well as some of its most innovative and sustainable services, including; Furniture as a Service, Circular Consult and the Buy Back Service.
Autex Acoustics
On Wednesday, 21 May 2025, Autex Acoustics will host two engaging talks at Clerkenwell Design Week, held at their showroom on Old Street, London. Starting at 12.30pm, Jonathan Mountfort, Creative Director at Autex, will explore the future of sustainable design, discussing circularity, regenerative principles, and nature-positive approaches.
At 1.15pm, Sonn Studio will present Autex Revolve, an immersive installation showcasing innovative circular design and material practices. Attendees will gain exclusive insights into sustainable design processes while enjoying complimentary refreshments in a beautifully curated space. A must-attend event for design enthusiasts committed to environmental responsibility.
Arte / Milliken / Agua / Ahrend
Arte
Arte will present its latest wallcovering designs at Clerkenwell Design Week, showcasing nine new collections that span 37 patterns and 235 colorways. Drawing inspiration from a wide array of textures—ranging from natural materials including grasses, tree bark, wood veneer, and jute to delicate elements such as capiz shells—these collections reflect both organic beauty and modern innovation.
Some designs feature actual natural components, while others blend nature-inspired motifs with cutting-edge techniques, including 3D textile wallcoverings. The new vinyl and nonwoven wallpapers highlight timeless textures such as linen and rope.

Altro
Visit Altro’s showroom during Clerkenwell Design Week, transformed into a creative colour and texture lab showcasing Human Centric Design. Collaborating with Laura Perryman, a colour designer with 18-years of CMF expertise, Altro invites visitors to explore colour and texture as a visual language, addressing wellness, health, human-led, and sensory topics.
Through workshops led by Laura, gain insights on using colour and texture to create better spaces. Visit Altro’s showroom in Clerkenwell Green for barista coffee, samples, brochures, and design ideas from the Altro specification team. Make Altro a must-see at Clerkenwell Design Week 2025.
Benholm
Benholm is delighted to be part of the Journal of Biophilic Design’s brand new Biophilic Design Sourcing Hub, launching during Clerkenwell Design Week. Join the team at the V Pod Showroom on Tuesday 20 May, 3–5pm, for Bubbles and Berries — a relaxed celebration introducing the platform and showcasing suppliers championing biophilic and sustainable design. Visitors will also be able to explore the hub, meet contributors, and sign up for discounts and insights.
Camira
Leading textile designer and manufacturer, Camira, will welcome circular economy researcher, award-winning sustainable designer and author, Professor Becky Earley to Clerkenwell Design Week this year.
On 21 May 2025, Professor Earley, a creative researcher with more than 25 years of experience in sustainable and circular textile design, will deliver two insightful talks to an audience at Camira’s London showroom. The session will address the global textile waste crisis and explore how circular design solutions can combat the escalating issue.
Autex / Altro / Benholm / Camira
CDUK
Join CDUK Thursday 22 May 2025 - 2.45 - 3.45pm - at Design Meets in Design Fields for a panel discussion examining how the design industry can tackle the growing challenges of material waste and disorganised sample libraries. With insights from industry leaders, they'll explore innovative strategies aimed at giving samples a Second Life to support a more sustainable, efficient design process.
From rethinking library systems to developing circular solutions from excess materials, this conversation will highlight practical approaches that empower designers to reduce waste while staying inspired.
CDUK Managing Director Andy Noble will be a guest speaker at the Design Meets panel discussion, bringing insights as a market leading supplier of surface materials with examples of how the Vita Nova solution contributes to a circular economy with one avenue being repurposing samples.
Ege Carpets
At Clerkenwell Design Week 2025, Ege Carpets invites visitors to explore its newly refreshed showroom and discover exclusive new collections ahead of launch. Central to the programme are two must-attend panel discussions: one challenging the industry’s carbon-only view of sustainability, and another exploring how hospitality design is reshaping the modern workplace.
With leading voices from TP Bennett, Gensler, Accor and more, these talks offer sharp insights into the future of interior design. Throughout the week, Ege’s team will be on hand to guide visitors through new tools, bespoke solutions and the creative thinking behind their latest innovations.
Forbo x Crown Paints
With the emphasis on colour, Forbo Flooring Systems is partnering with Crown Paints at this year’s Clerkenwell Design Week, with its EC1 showroom set to showcase how beautiful, integrated interior design schemes can be created with colour at their core.
Visitors to the manufacturer’s showroom will be able to explore a new colour sample wall, showcasing the wide range of colourways across Forbo’s comprehensive flooring portfolio and how these can be combined with complementary Crown paints and textures. Reflecting set themes identified within Crown’s 2025/26 Colour Insights Report, architects and specifiers will be able to gain valuable design inspiration for integrated interior schemes.
Grestec
Join Grestec at Project (Stand PA8) during Clerkenwell Design Week to explore its latest tile collections, connect with its welcoming team, and receive expert guidance for your upcoming design projects.
Two new collections will also be introduced - Caravan Serai, combining terracotta warmth with porcelain durability available in a 330×330mm size for both interior and exterior applications, three colours, and offered in a smooth finish or with a 3D textured base, along with geometric patterns and a Moroccan-inspired décor in 310×560mm.
And Beno, porcelain tiles inspired by slate stone. Available in four colours and various dimensions and an over 36 PTV slip rating.
CDUK / Forbo x Crown / Ege / Grestec
ILIV
Protect+ upholstery fabrics, Cairo, Flynn & Saddle will be introduced by ILIV at this year's CDW.
Cairo, a subtle basketweave woven fabric, and Flynn, a sophisticated chenille, are new additions to the ILIV range, whereas the existing leather-look vinyl Saddle is now available in new colourways.
Each fabric boasts our Protect+ technology with waterproof, stain-resistant and anti-bacterial properties, making them ideal for high traffic commercial spaces.

Karndean Commercial
Karndean Commercial will champion inclusive design at Clerkenwell Design Week 2025 with its immersive installation, Designing for the Senses. Hosted at its showroom at 20 Clerkenwell Green from 20–22 May, the exhibit explores how neurodiverse design can create environments for all. Blending calming neutrals with bold, stimulating patterns, it highlights how flooring can support both hypersensitive and hyposensitive needs.
Visitors can explore the flexibility of Karndean flooring, speak with commercial specification experts, and preview Karndean’s latest RIBA-approved CPD seminar, Designing Neuro-Inclusive Environments with Flooring. Visit the events page karndean.com/events to find out what's on.
Milliken
Milliken will launch a floor tile collection ‘Pattern Play’ inspired by The New Fabulous Movement. Senior Designer Helen Lloyd will lead customisation sessions, where participants are invited to come and enjoy creative, hands-on workshops working with the collection.
There will also be ‘Play with Pattern’ workshops from Patternistas and Supermundane.
Milliken will showcase its re-use programme with Reusefully, who were commissioned to produce a whitepaper on re-use in commercial interiors.
Dezeen will bring an eminent panel to Milliken’s showroom to discuss the realities of re-use and what we can learn from other sectors: 'From Couture to Corporate: lessons in circular design principles.'
Muraspec

NaughtOne marks a major milestone this May: 20 years of NaughtOne and its first Clerkenwell Design Week in a new London home — The Old Trading House.

Visit Parkside’s Clerkenwell Design Studio during Clerkenwell Design Week 2025 and be part of one of its special hands-on events with Rich Miller of C4’s Great Pottery Throw Down and the team at Alusid.
Each day come and see Rich leading one of his Masterclasses either clay throwing, handbuilding or tile carving exploring nature's crossover by making clay flowers.

Russwood
Designing for a Sustainable Future with Timber – a CPD accredited event brought to you by Russwood, Abodo, and Waugh Thistleton. The event will take place in London at Waugh Thistleton’s studio, 35 Pitfield St, N1 6HB.
As the built environment shifts towards a more sustainable future, the role of timber in architecture has never been more crucial. This event brings together leading experts in sustainable materials, mass timber, and circular design for a dynamic panel discussion, practical insights, and a lively pop quiz hosted by Waugh Thistleton graduates to test your knowledge – all over a glass of fizz.
Accreditation: This event aligns with the ARB Architects Registration Board’s 2025 core competency for Environmental Sustainability.

sixteen3 partners with Crown Paints to explore how design shapes perception, emotion, and experience. sixteen3’s Bastwick Street showroom becomes an interactive lab, featuring sensory moodboarding, colour perception tests, and sight impairment simulations.
Alongside new product launches, the space challenges visitors to rethink inclusivity through the lens of neuroscience. On Wednesday 21 May at 1.30pm, Dr. Stephanie Fitzgerald delivers a must-see talk on how colour, texture, acoustics, and layout influence how we feel and function in the spaces around us.

Smile Plastics has crafted a series of interchangeable signage from 100% recycled/recyclable material with flexibility firmly in mind.
The signage – sporting the beautifully textural aesthetics of Smile Plastics’ Dapples and new Earth collections – takes on a sculptural yet functional arrow form, designed and fabricated by Will Atkins of Make Relief. They won’t just be used for this year’s festival (20–22 May) but will also feature at Design London Shoreditch (16–18 September). After that, they will be reimagined rather than be replaced.
This circular repurposing – transforming something which ordinarily would have become redundant into an event mainstay – is indicative of Smile Plastics’ wider, ongoing mission to put wonder in the place of waste for good across all that it does, the whole world over.
