I turned up on site at West Ham Station with my suitcase; they threw it in a dumper truck and took me off to site. I thought, wow this is amazing. I was twenty-one then - the only female onsite with two hundred men - Lisa Sawyer

With over 20 years of experience and gaining chartered engineer status in 2004 Lisa has worked on a wide variety of structural and civil engineering projects both in contracting and consultancy.

Lisa’s new role as Director of Sustainable Drainage at Land Studio will help bring together a fully integrated landscape and civil engineering approach, bringing sustainable drainage into the wider site design to enhance the landscape providing climate resilient designs which reduce flooding, enhance biodiversity and create a better sense of place. Lisa is a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and Women In Property.
