Material Source Podcast Episode #13 - Chatting with Sian Webster - Director of Development - Yorkshire Housing

42 Roles in the Built Environment - Director of Development

We’re a housing association at Yorkshire Housing, what that means is we own 18,000 homes across the whole of Yorkshire and our focus is basically to provide affordable homes for people who can’t afford to buy on the open market or open market rent either, because we have a housing crisis in the UK - Sian Webster

Sian is the Director of Development at Yorkshire Housing. Having been with YH for 8 years, and with a background in land buying, she is now responsible for New Build Development and Sales at YH.

As well as being able to work somewhere where she’s able to make a difference by providing new affordable homes, she’s also passionate about sustainability, focussing on moving Yorkshire Housing to low carbon development and reducing their overall impact on the environment.
