Rehau reveals first look at RAUVISIO Cube in Desert Stone.
Rehau's RAUVISIO Cube is a contemporary interior surface material that reimagines the raw, urban appeal of concrete for modern living.
Instead of heavy slabs, it offers designers and makers a lightweight, versatile, and a more sustainable way to achieve the same architectural impact. The surface captures the subtle pores, textures and depth of real concrete, yet remains easy to work with using everyday tools, making it accessible for projects at every scale.
This blend of authenticity and practicality opens up new creative possibilities – from sleek residential kitchens to bold commercial interiors. Its durability and low-maintenance finish ensure spaces retain their character, while a curated palette of six finishes reflects contemporary design trends and offers extensive scope for personal expression.
Recognised with the Red Dot award in 2025 for innovation in “Materials & Surfaces” and the Interzum guangzhou Award 2025, RAUVISIO Cube demonstrates how surfaces can combine design integrity, performance and responsibility; shaping interiors that are both inspiring and enduring.
In terms of its sustainability credentials, RAUVISIO Cube is built on "responsibly sourced wood substrates and recycled materials. At the end of its service life, mineral and wooden elements can be separated, with MDF reintroduced into board production cycles, reinforcing circular economy principles".
Its long-lasting resistance to scratches, chemicals and wear extends its usable life, helping reduce replacement and waste. The product’s packaging also balances efficiency with responsibility, using both disposable and reusable formats to minimise impact. Crucially, the product is free from heavy metals, chlorine compounds and halogenated substances, and complies with RoHS, REACh and VOC standards to support healthier interior environments.
RAUVISIO Cube Desert Stone, will be officially launched at Surface Design Show (3-5 February 2026), on Stand 364. You can experience Rehau's products in situ, all year round, at Material Source Studio Manchester, where it is a Partner.
