BIRDMIND is Spanish circular material start-up, giving new life to agricultural waste-streams to manufacture sustainable solutions, such as RICETAB.
RICETAB® is a sustainable and bio-based fibreboard fabricated mainly from rice rusk - an agricultural product. It can be used for many interior applications, such as furniture and wall cladding.
Available in 2710 x 1360mm boards and in thicknesses of 16 and 19mm, it also has fireproofed, water-repellent, and antifungal properties. Its EPD is currently in progress. Additionally, RICETAB® can be mechanically recycled into new products.
