Amtico transforms magical woodland treehouse at Ramside Hall Hotel.
The Dove Treehouse at Ramside Hall Hotel in Durham, which opened its doors last year, has been fitted with an intricate Castel Weave flooring pattern using Amtico’s Signature collection of luxury vinyl tiles (LVT).
An extension of Ramside’s three existing treehouses, Dove is a 10-person luxury retreat that follows the same woodland-inspired design principles. The colour palette and materials reflect the surroundings with rustic stone and wood-clad walls, decorative foliage and a beautiful, eye-catching Amtico flooring, which was chosen for its design-led aesthetics, colour palettes and durability to withstand heavy footfall. Situated within the woodland adjacent to the 18th fairway of The Prince Bishops golf course, Dove Treehouse boasts a mezzanine, kitchen, terrace and three bedrooms, plus a large lounge that allows the venue to be used for functions and events.

The lounge area will also be used for various events and occasions, although its main function will be as a wedding venue.
A timeless Parquet laying pattern surrounds the Castel Weave pattern and extends into the hallway and kitchen area. Parquet helps the interior maintain a magical, woodland feel and delivers a seamless transition between the lounge, hallways and kitchen.
Amtico Signature’s Quantum Guard Elite coating makes it perfect for the Treehouse’s multi-use space while providing protection against abrasive debris, scuffs and scratches, particularly when staff re-arrange the furniture between ceremonies. The lounge also boasts full-height windows to allow natural light to flood the space, so the LVT’s UV resistance is essential for ensuring a fade-free finish.
