'Alexander' & 'Arny Lite' - Alderley Park

Alderley Park is a world-leading life science innovation campus. Based in Cheshire, it has the biggest and best invested life science R&D facilities in the UK, offering laboratory and state-of-the-art office space to rent.

Amspec was chosen on behalf of Bruntwood to design and refurbish the breakout areas in Block 30.

The original brief was to design a scheme which incorporates furniture and finishes that complement the design of the breakout area on the ground floor of the same building. Bruntwood wanted to create a variety of spaces to relax, encourage interaction and reinforce the idea of belonging to a community.

sixteen3 supplied a mix of loose furniture to create a practical yet stylish space, with mid-height Arny Lite booth seating providing semi-enclosed meeting areas and wing back Alexander chairs acting as a focal point in the open lounge area. Steel Icarus occasional tables provide an additional burst of colour.
