An illuminating refurbishment for PZ Cussons global headquarters in Manchester.

Modern workspace interior of PZ Cussons headquarters featuring a stylish bar area, greenery, and collaborative seating spaces.

PZ Cussons, the company behind household brands such as Carex and Imperial Leather, has re-opened its doors to a newly refurbished, global headquarters in Manchester.

With staff wellbeing at the forefront of the new design, the office comprises a new fitness suite, additional breakout areas and workspaces that are focussed on meeting the WELL Gold certification.

More sustainable LED lighting was a key consideration with the lighting scheme. Local Interior Designers, Incognito, specified a large mix of Light Forms’ range, including green RAL painted, Nova 62 Track Spots and Powergear UK track, bespoke linear and curved Neon LED, Lightplane 2.5 linear profile and a bespoke, 3-meter diameter, MoonFull fitting. The design of the MoonFull was elevated with custom printed leaves on the membrane diffuser, which was tailored to integrate with the ceiling and the space in general.

Director of Light Forms’ North, Paul Shoosmith said: “It was a pleasure to work with Designers, Incognito and main contractors, Flexible Business Interiors, on this project. The design and specification allowed us to demonstrate our ability to manufacture and supply made to measure fixtures in the best possible way. The end result and feedback from the client has been incredible. It was a real team effort."
